TEACHING POSITION 2024 - Full-time Ongoing - Students With Disability Teacher
St Francis’ is a CARE School, which offers students WACE and VET courses in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. There is a strong emphasis on functional Literacy and Numeracy, with teamwork and staff collaboration essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and empathetic teacher who can connect with and make a difference in the lives of teenagers in a CARE School setting. Experience in working with Students with Disability in a Secondary or Primary school setting is preferable.
A new program is being introduced in 2024 to support Students with Disability who are unable to access a traditional curriculum. This program will deliver alternative programs and courses to support Students with Disability, based on the students’ need, unique talents and abilities. The program will be individualised for each student and may include ASDAN, P Units, Employability Skills, Workplace Learning, functional literacy, and numeracy.
The teacher will also be responsible for student IEP’s, SWD and NCCD funding applications. The role will come with a time allowance and EA support. Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.

TEACHING POSITION 2024 - Fixed Term Temporary – Part-time or full-time will be considered - Materials Design and Technology Teacher – Metalwork

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and empathetic teacher who can connect with and make a difference in the lives of teenagers in a CARE School setting.
Suitable applicants will be four year trained with the qualifications to teach in the following area: Materials Design and Technology – Metalwork. Applicants are required to have their TAE – Certificate IV Training and Assessing as a Certificate II is delivered to Year 11 and 12 students. Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
